Model 8500 Digital Terminal - Where call volume is lighter but communication is critical, install the Model 8500 digital terminal. You have everything available in the Model 8520 terminal except for the display and the computer interface capability. The phone mounts on the wall or sits on the desk - your choice. Model 8600 IP Protocol Endpoint - An economical alternative to a display endpoint, the 8600 provides easy to use access to the systems.  Working much like a standard PBX station, it's great for a user with the need to make and receive only a few calls a day.

DSS Console - Programmable buttons provide individual busy lamp and single button transfer for fifty stations. The console may be attached to any Model 8560 or Model 8520 digital terminal using a PC data port module. The DSS console does not use a station port for operation.
(Not available for use with IP endpoints.)

Mini DSS - A sixteen button add-on module attaches to the right side of each 8500 series digital telephone giving the user a sixteen station DSS/BLF console. Each button provides for a busy lamp and one button transfers to individual stations. It's an economical option to the expense of a full console - particularly for smaller systems.  (Not available for use with IP endpoints.)

Softphone with Agent Set - Where everything is done with a PC, don't install a phone, install the Agent Set with special software that enables you to make and take calls directly from your Personal Computer. You can use a headset or a handset; you can use the mouse or keyboard; you can dial from your screen; you can even use caller ID information to "pop" accounts from your customer database to your screen.  You can even install it on your laptop and keep your same intercom number as you visit each branch.
