The range is located approximately 6.5 miles due west (as the crow flies) from the National Guard Armory which is located off US 550 & Northwest Corridor. By road, it is 18.4 miles from the intersection of US 550 & Northwest Corridor.

It is also accessible by traveling 17.1 miles from the intersection of Southern & Unser in Rio Rancho (generally in a northwest direction).
